hey. i'm aakarsh kashyap - systems programmer, gpu compute nerd, and chronic C addict(don't talk bad about C yk).

currently a 3rd year CSE student at GLA University (Mathura) and concurrently doing B.S. Data Science \& AI from IIT Madras.

i build things close to the metal - cuda kernels, bootloaders, runtimes, and the occasional kernel from scratch (sauceOS is my x86-64 hobby OS, currently wrestling with PCB and scheduling).

my main niche is GPU compute and compiler infrastructure(noob in both).

currently working on tsundere-runtime a challenge from saar, it's a web-stack from scratch project, with websites being reimagined as game loop instead of documents. tehehehe

i hold role of CWO at builders-inc, a developer community, and maintain soft-cuda - a hybrid CPU/GPU AOT deep learning framework with a custom 3-pass compiler, bump allocator, and lazy DAG. the hybrid model provides 35% increased perf, which i'm unreasonably proud of.

i use no LSP. i don't need syntax highlighting. i do this for fun.

when i'm not writing assembly or debugging page faults at 2am, i'm reading web novels (ORV, Shadow Slave, AOTC), listening to nightcore, or grinding Honkai: star rail ; ).

long-term goal: GPU compute or compiler work in Germany. short-term goal: survive summer without sleeping on a schedule.
